FightSignal™ Rank
Our comprehensive ranking system combines all performance metrics into a single score. This algorithm weighs technical skills, recent performance, physical attributes, and career achievements to provide the most accurate representation of a fighter's current standing.
Striking Rating (STR)
Evaluates a fighter's striking proficiency by analyzing significant strikes landed per minute, striking accuracy, strikes absorbed, and striking defense. Also considers knockdowns scored and striking variety across different positions.
Grappling Rating (GRP)
Measures grappling effectiveness through takedown success rate, submission attempts, ground control time, and defensive grappling metrics. Includes both offensive and defensive wrestling abilities, as well as submission threats.
Momentum Score (MOM)
Real-time performance indicator combining fight recency, win streaks, activity rate, and consistency. Shows a fighter's current trajectory and form, with higher scores indicating peak performance periods.
ELO Rating (ELO)
Dynamic rating system that updates after every fight based on opponent quality and fight outcome. Starting at 1500, ratings shift based on performance against higher or lower-rated opponents, measuring relative skill level.
Physical Stats Score (PHY)
Measures how effectively fighters utilize their physical attributes in competition. Analyzes reach advantage, height leverage, and weight utilization relative to division averages.
Progression Score (PRG)
Tracks technical evolution across striking, grappling, and fight control. Measures improvement in striking accuracy, takedown efficiency, ground control, and submission effectiveness over time.
Record Score (REC)
Evaluates overall career achievements including win-loss record, quality of competition faced, and performance in championship or main event fights. Weighted towards recent fights with historical context.
